JJ’s Appliances Charleville – Free Delivery & Install October Promotion: Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:
- This offer is exclusive to JJ’s Appliances Charleville store and is available to customers who show the promotional post on JJ’s Appliances’ official Facebook or Instagram pages at the time of purchase.
- The offer is valid between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM throughout October.
Applicable Products:
- The following freestanding and built-in products are eligible for free delivery and installation:
  - 50cm-60cm freestanding fridge freezers, fridges, freezers.
  - 60cm freestanding washing machines, dryers, dishwashers.
  - Built-in electric single and double ovens, electric hobs.
  - Freestanding electric cookers and chest freezers.
- Excluded Products:
  - Fridge freezers over 60cm.
  - Integrated appliances (fridges, freezers, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers).
  - Gas appliances (cookers, hobs, ranges).
  - Extractor hoods, Quooker taps, TVs, small white goods.
  - Any other item not mentioned in the applicable products list.
Delivery Radius:
- Free delivery & Install is available within a 30km radius of the Charleville store. For deliveries beyond this distance installation is not an option and a €10 delivery charge will apply.
Installation:
- Installation will be carried out only if the necessary infrastructure is already in place (e.g., plumbing for washing machines or dishwashers, electrical socket or cable for electric cookers).
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that installation can be completed in a single visit. For example, customers must ensure that the appliance will fit in the intended space and are advised to measure the area before delivery and installation.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery personnel have clear access to the delivery location (e.g., no narrow stairways, locked gates, or other obstacles).
- If an item is located up a set of stairs, stacked on top of another item, or requires lifting assistance that the customer cannot provide, a €10 fee will apply to send a second person for assistance.
- If a return visit is required due to issues outside of JJ’s Appliances’ control, a €10 fee will be charged for each additional visit.
Customer Responsibility for Product Condition:
- Customers should inspect the appliance upon delivery for any visible damage. If any issues are found, they must be reported immediately to JJ’s Appliances before the installation team leaves.
Warranty Information:
- Warranty information for the appliances will be provided at the time of delivery. Customers should keep this documentation for future reference.
Damage Liability:
- JJ’s Appliances is not responsible for any damage to the customer’s property during delivery or installation if it results from conditions outside of our control (e.g., narrow doorways, unprepared spaces, obstacles).
Limitations on Liability:
- JJ’s Appliances will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from delivery or installation services.
Returns and Refunds:
- If the customer returns a product, the free delivery and installation offer does not entitle them to a refund of these services. A collection fee and reinstallation charges may apply for any returned or exchanged items.
Appointment Scheduling:
- Delivery and installation appointments are subject to availability and will be scheduled at the time of purchase. JJ’s Appliances will make every effort to accommodate the customer’s preferred timing.
- Delivery and installation will generally be completed within 5-7 business days of purchase, unless otherwise specified.
- Time of Delivery: While JJ’s Appliances will strive to meet the agreed delivery window, specific time slots cannot always be guaranteed due to potential delays or unforeseen circumstances. JJ’s Appliances will notify the customer of any significant delays.
Limitations:
- This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts.
- There is no limit to the number of times a customer can avail of this offer during October.
In-Store Promotion:
- The promotion is valid for in-store purchases only at JJ’s Appliances Charleville.
- The post must be shown at the point of purchase to qualify for free delivery and installation.
Weather and Safety Delays:
- In the event of hazardous weather conditions or safety concerns, delivery and installation may need to be rescheduled for safety reasons. There will be no extra charge for rescheduling under these circumstances.
Unclaimed Deliveries:
- If the customer is unavailable to accept the delivery at the scheduled time, JJ’s Appliances reserves the right to reschedule the delivery and may charge a fee for any subsequent attempts to deliver and install the item.
Right to Refuse Service:
- JJ’s Appliances reserves the right to refuse delivery or installation if the site conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable for installation.
Ownership and Risk Transfer:
- Ownership and responsibility for the appliance transfer to the customer upon successful delivery to their premises. JJ’s Appliances will not be liable for any damage or issues that occur after delivery unless it is a valid warranty claim.

Amendments:
- JJ’s Appliances reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, with changes effective from the date they are published.

- This promotion runs for the month of October 2024 but is subject to early termination or changes at the discretion of JJ’s Appliances. Any changes will not affect customers who have already made a purchase.
